Scott has specialized exclusively in middle-market mezzanine and structured equity investing since 1988, and prior to co-founding Peninsula Capital Partners, participated in the successful development of two other private investment firms, Churchill Capital, Inc. and Northstar Capital, Ltd. Mr. Reilly’s contributions toward building Peninsula Capital Partners earned him the honor of being named Ernst & Young’s Financial Services 2000 Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of Michigan.

Mr. Reilly has accumulated a broad background in the private capital industry having invested more than $1 billion of mezzanine capital in well over 100 companies during his career. He has closed a wide variety of transactions, including LBOs, MBOs, ESOPs, recapitalizations, platform roll-ups, growth financings, and leveraged dividends, in a broad array of industries. Mr. Reilly formulated Peninsula Capital’s unique investment program, which focuses on providing mezzanine capital to non- and independently-sponsored transactions, which has become the hallmark of the firm and the foundation of its success.

Mr. Reilly began his career in the corporate finance group of Security Pacific Merchant Bank, completing the bank’s extensive credit and capital markets training program. He received a BBA in Economics from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is a member of the CFA Institute. Mr. Reilly’s interests include the theater, exercising, writing, boating and his family.
